More Raniere weirdness, Nxivm in pop culture and anything else I didn’t know where else to put. As The Man With the Highest IQ once said “…the main thrust of this has been the oppression but really a different issue, which is hard for me to express.” Same Keith, same. Coming soon…
Revisions 2025
During a rewatch of all things Nxivm, I made revisions to my recaps.
Seduced: Ep. 4 “Exposed”
The final episode. Catherine Oxenberg goes public to bring Nxivm and Keith down. Keith is so arrogant he didn't even see her coming. India is finally freed and Keith goes on trial.
Seduced: Ep. 2 “Indoctrinated”
India tells us about Jness Tracks and SOP Complete. We learn about mind experiments, radicalization, indoctrination and other head fucking done by Keith.
The Vow: Season 2, Episode 6/ The Finale “Crime and Punishment”
The finale. Nancy reflects on her relationship with Keith and her responsibility. Kind of. She’s working on it. The judge hands down Nancy’s sentence.
The Vow: Season 1, Episode 5 “Class 1 Data”
Catherine and company go to the New York Times to expose Nxivm and hopefully get the attention of the authorities. We also learn the countermeasures Nxivm and the wretched Bronfman sisters attempted to repair Keith’s shitty reputation.
The Vow: Season 1, Episode 4 “Building Character”
We meet Catherine Oxenberg, whose daughter India is in DOS. We meet "Jane Doe" who shares her story of being in the secret group. Keith baits the line to catch Allison Mack.
The Vow: Season 1, Episode 3 “At Cause”
Sarah is starting to wake up. We meet Lauren, daughter of the co-head of Nxivm, who is only partially living in the same reality as the rest of us. We also meet Nippy, Sarah's husband.
The Vow: Season 1, Episode 2 “Viscera”
Bonnie Piesse and Mark Vicente share their experience with ESP and Keith. And they explain the why, the when and the how of waking up and getting out of Dodge.
